Artist Surfaces are proud to offer affordable Museum standard Sandwich aluminium painting panels.

Artists Surfaces use aluminium alloy 6082 sheets which are a medium strength alloy offering excellent corrosion resistance. This creates a painting panel that is rigid, light with a smooth surface that does not require any initial sizing or priming before painting. Aluminium will not react to changes in humidity or temperature.

A 6mm plywood sub frame is attached to the back of the aluminium painting panels sub-frame allowing for staples to be inserted to fix stretched material.

Aluminium painting panels are suitable for acrylic and oil painting.
