An aluminium panel for easily transporting for plein air painting or studio preparatory.
 
Our Economy range are unsanded. 

Artists Surfaces use aluminium alloy 6082 sheets which are a medium strength alloy offering excellent corrosion resistance. This creates a painting panel that is rigid, light with a smooth surface that does not require any initial sizing or priming before painting. Aluminium will not react to changes in humidity or temperature.

Aluminium Plein Air painting panels are suitable for acrylic and oil painting.
 
ECONOMY Poplar Plein Air Panels 
 
A 6mm sturdy furniture grade poplar plywood panel sanded to a 120 grit finish. Our economy range are not filled and may have small defects.
 
The Economy Plein air panels are great for plein air painting or studio preparatory.
